The Ichinoseki International Association
The Ichinoseki International Association was established on February 2, 2020, with the aim of fostering international awareness among citizens, deepening international understanding, and contributing to the creation of a multicultural and inclusive society.
The association is engaged in a variety of initiatives to promote international exchange and multicultural coexistence, including operating a consultation desk for foreign residents, offering Japanese language classes, and organizing cultural exchange events.
As of May 2025, the organization has expanded its activities under its new status as a Specified Nonprofit Corporation (NPO), the Ichinoseki International Association.

Japanese Classes
There are three places in Ichinoseki that offer Japanese language classes.
Reservations are not necessary, but classes may occasionally be canceled.
